I went for a quick run this morning and then proceeded to take a bath in Bestie's shower.
With my semi-wet hair, I stepped out of Sherman Hall to have my daily cuppa Soy Green Tea Latte. When I stepped into Starbucks, ran my fingers through my hair, I realized the wet portions froze and I had sticking-out broom-like hair. Welcome to -32 degrees celcius in Illinois!

Sc, XY, Lindy have all taken the MegaBus to head to SC's friend's place to dump their luggage, before heading to NYC. It's gonna be freezing there! Poor SC must feel horrid leaving the Europeans.
Bestie had concussed after reading Cosmopolitan. I shall read my magazines to kill time too. =P Adios!

I have moved over to Sherman!! I missed hanging with Bestie and Linds and bumming around with them today was uber amazing =). Kailing is sleeping now, with ipod plugged to her ears. Linds is studying for her final paper due in 1 hr... she doesnt need to cos' shes smart but shes a perfectionist =P. I am jealous that everyone has their papers done before Bestie and I. Pffftt.
Today one of the Starbucks Baristas made me a fabulous cuppa Extra Hot Grande Green Tea Latte with extra matcha powder, no melon syrup, no water but replaced with Soy milk. I tell you, I have spent 4 months observing the Starbucks baristas make the coffees so often, I swear I'll be perfect working as one. Hoping the Siglap baristas won't glare me down when I order my special drink when Im back in MotherLand.
I am too excited to sleep at nights. But I try to sleep early so the next day will come quickly heehee.

hello world.
I have experienced near-death experiences twice in my life.
One. While snorkelling in deep-sea-choppy-waters in Miami.
Two. While waiting for the freaking bus in the fucking cold weather of -20 degrees celcius. My fingers were purple and on the verge of dropping off. So were the toes.
AHMAHGAWD KILL ME NOW

it is snowing again!! why why why does it always have to snow!? It is so annoying to have slippery pavements, and having to skate and slide across the roads to test if they are icy or walkable like normal cement floors. It is now -15 degrees celcius and I am blogging in Starbucks, with absolutely no motivation to start studying.
Dang you, snowy flurry weather!! *curses*
I hope no snow flakes will get into my eyes later, like they always do. Cannot wait to perspire in sunny Singapore again.

1 down, last one to go on Friday! Im packed and all rady to move to Sherman to bunk with my Bestie and Linds!
Yiling, Saiying, Meiling have been wonderful housemates, and I would never change living elsewhere for the world, if I had the chance to choose again of course. Albeit the house being far away from campus itself, the warm cosy feeling of having our own little house for 4+ months rocked.
Meiling's dad has flown off to Singapore this morning. To tell you the truth, the house seems emptier without his random comments, which seem to crack himself up all the time. He's my saviour for helping me lug my heavy heavy bag to MotherLand.
Less than a month away to Home Sweet Home,
Less than a month away to hug my mum,
Less than a month away to talk to my sweet Sis again,
Less than a month to Skype my Dad freely,
Less than a month away to take a bus to meet my baby boy anytime, any day,
Less than a month away to bum around with Cyn, Farand, Wei, ICC peeps, other lovelies,
Less than a month away to sleep in my new bed, in my new room, in that new apartment for the very first time
EVER!

Hello world. =)
The exchange program is coming to an end... I had lots of fun here in the US of A, loved the weather when it was non-snowy, hung out with cool people, fell in love with Kailing. Places I visited were NYC, Miami, Orlando, Chicago... Too sweet.
Can't believe 4+ months flew by so fast, but every single minute some part of me wished I were back home in sweltering sunny Singapore. Im a sucker for family and company. USA's fun, but it's time to go home.
Mummy, Jie, Daddy, Kenn, Cyn, Farand, Wei, Roach, Kkor, Chen Chung, all ICC peeps. Wait and see. =)
